Help My Mom Fight for Her Life Again

On April 28, 2024, my mom suffered a hemorrhagic stroke that left her unable to move the left side of her body. Doctors discovered multiple tumors deep in her brain, requiring urgent craniotomy surgery the very next day. During the operation, they removed one tumor but could not safely check for others near her eyes. Due to complications, a tracheostomy tube was inserted, and she remained bedridden for weeks. She was in ICU for 4 days, with costs averaging ₱40,000–₱50,000 ($800–$1,000 USD) per day, and the surgery itself cost between ₱300,000–₱400,000 ($6,000–$8,000 USD), not including medications and supplies. The total hospital bill reached ₱765,128.93 ($13,663 USD).

Since then, we’ve been getting regular MRIs every 3 to 6 months to monitor the remaining tumors. Unfortunately, the tumor that was removed has grown back aggressively and has become quite large. Doctors have informed us she will need another brain surgery followed by possible radiation therapy.
