UPDATE 03/26/2025: Thank you to everyone who has helped our family through prayers, services, words of encouragement and giving. We are still very much fighting this battle and our mom is sure giving it her all. She is doing really well, but these allergies are getting her. She has still not recieved dissability yet and we found out that will cover about half her bills. We are so blessed with the help we have recieved and so thankful for the community we have. We are also in the process of doing some medical therapies that won't be covered by insurance, but we believe it is what our mom needs. We are praying for God to ease our financial stress but most importantly praying for healing for our mom. Thank you again to everyone.
UPDATE: 01/25/2025
Hi everyone! We wanted to provide an update on my mom. Our mom has been fighting through this diagnosis. We want to thank everyone for your prayers. Our mom is doing really well at this current time, and we are feeling truly encouraged. Our mom was on oxygen for roughly two months and has been off her oxygen for almost three weeks. This is huge! She has qualified for a chemotherapy pill called afatnib and has been taking that for around the same time. She took one dose of it and then went off her oxygen a few hours later. We are also doing tons of holistic treatments with my mom and my family has truly been learning so much. My eyes have personally been opened to everything that is truly out there. Our mom has been able to slowly drive again and leave the house which is huge for her. Thank you all for praying, please keep doing so. Prayers for continued healing. She has some fluid around her heart which may need to get drained and my mom is nervous about that. Her treatment may help with that issue so prayers we see results in that area as well! We will be having dr visits to keep that monitored and follow ups with her oncologist. Her next lung scan will likely be in March. Prayers that we see improvement when we get those scans. And always prayers for strength for my mom and our family as we fight through this. Thank you everyone. We love you all.

Thank you to everyone who is praying for our family during this time. We are in the process of exploring options and figuring out the best move for my mom. She is so strong and has so much faith. We had our first meeting with the oncologist and are exploring additional treatment options as well. We are trying to remain optimistic. Thank you to everyone who has prayed, visited, donated, offered services and shared our story. We ask that everyone continue to do so. Our family is feeling so wrapped in love right now, and that is because of all of you.

Our mom is still in the hospital. She asked us to post a message from her:
"My heart has been touched so dearly by all the people who are praying, sending notes, sending text messages, donating and visiting me in the hospital. I had no idea there were so many people who would care this much. I fully believe that God can change the course of man's diagnosis. So I want to thank you with all my heart for your prayers. I am sending a hug and my love to every one of you!"
Thank you to all prayer warriors everywhere.
UPDATE: 11/15/2024
Our mom is still in the hospital. We have received a diagnosis of metastatic lung cancer, which means lung cancer that has spread. We know our mom has a HUGE fight ahead of her, but she is one of the strongest people we know. Thank you for all who have prayed and were able to donate. Please share this if you are able to. We are in the process of exploring treatment options and what that might. Thank you for all your support.
Dear friends, family, and anyone else who may be seeing this,
Our family is reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for help for our amazing mother, who is currently facing an incredibly challenging health crisis. Since Friday, November 1st, our mom has been in the ICU. She was admitted due to a serious combination of health issues, including blood clots in her lungs, legs, and arms. The doctors also found multiple nodules in her lungs and on her adrenal gland, and she is currently having difficulty breathing, requiring supplemental oxygen to help her get through each day.
We have been told that the road to recovery will be long, and she will likely be dealing with these conditions for some time. She is undergoing a series of tests to determine the full extent of her condition, but as of now, the doctors are still uncertain about the exact diagnosis. This uncertainty has added to our family’s stress, as we wait for answers and pray for her recovery.
Before being admitted to the hospital, our mom had already been out of work for two weeks due to illness, and now, due to the severity of her condition, it’s unclear when she will be able to return to work. As a result, she is struggling financially. She has always been a hardworking, selfless mother, and now she needs our support more than ever.
We are asking for donations to help assist with daily living costs and provide financial relief so she does not lose her home while she is unable to work. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference in helping our mom during this incredibly difficulty.
If you are unable to help financially, but you know someone who can please share this to others. Most importantly, we are also asking for prayers during this time.
Taylor, Kacey and Jessie.
