Help My Mom Fight Breast Cancer Without Financial Worry
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Brianna Friedman, and I am reaching out for help for my amazing mom, Mishele Barone, who is currently battling breast cancer. My mom has always been the heart of our family. This has been the hardest time for our family, as we watch her fight this disease with so much courage, but we are struggling to afford the treatment she desperately needs.
Recently, my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 estrogen-based breast cancer. Her diagnosis felt like a cruel twist of fate, and as if the emotional toll wasn’t enough, we were now up against an impossible financial barrier. Every doctor’s visit, every test, and every possible treatment came with a price tag that seems unobtainable. The irony is heartbreaking: the very care that could save one's life or make the process stress-free is so often out of reach.
My mom has always been the strongest person I know. Growing up, I saw her as invincible, someone who could weather any storm. But cancer is relentless, and suddenly, I was faced with the reality that strength alone wasn’t enough to fight this battle. Despite everything, my mom never gave up. She kept going, not just for herself, but for me. Her determination inspired me in ways I can’t put into words. It taught me that love and resilience are powerful forces, even in the face of impossible odds.
This experience has opened my eyes to the harsh realities so many families face. Breast cancer doesn’t discriminate, but access to care often does. It’s a devastating truth that the outcome of a life-threatening illness can depend on something as arbitrary as income.
My mom is still fighting, and so am I. We’ve learned to take it one day at a time, finding hope in the small victories—a good test result, a kind word from a stranger, a donation that helps us get through another week. Her battle has become my battle, not just to help her, but to raise awareness about the countless others facing the same struggle.
If I could tell my mom one thing, it would be this: “You are going to be okay. You are my world. And no matter how hard this gets, we will face it together. I love you more than words can say, and I will do everything I can to make sure you get the care you deserve.”
This journey has been the hardest thing we’ve ever faced, but it has also shown me the depth of a daughter’s love and the strength of a mother’s spirit. Even when the odds feel insurmountable, we hold on to hope. Because at the end of the day, love is what keeps us fighting.
She is strong, and we are determined to do everything we can to help her beat this. But we cannot do it alone. That’s why I am asking for your help. Every donation—no matter how small—will help go toward her medical treatments, medications, and care, giving her the chance to focus on healing instead of worrying about money. If you can’t donate, we completely understand, but please share this page with others who might be able to help. Your support, love, and prayers mean the world to us, and help will give my mom the strength to keep fighting.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of her fight. Together, we can make a difference.
With love and gratitude,
Brianna Friedman
