Hi, my name is Ebony, and I'm raising funds for my mom, Melissa Morgan. She has recently received devastating news: doctors found 9 spots on her brain and additional spots in her lung. She will need brain surgery and ongoing treatment to fight this battle.

Mom has started her treatments and has to drive back and forth one to multiple times weekly. She will definitely be out of work until the very least end of January. Unfortunately the bills won’t pause and just keep coming. Any help is appreciated more than you know.

Update: No Return to Work — We’re Drowning in Bills

Hi everyone,

I wanted to give a real update because so many of you have been checking in.

Right now, there is no return-to-work date. What we hoped would be temporary has turned into something much longer and harder than expected. The bills haven’t slowed down, but income has completely stopped.

We are drowning.

Rent, utilities, food, transportation — everything keeps piling up. We’ve cut back on everything possible. There’s no extra. There’s no cushion. Just daily decisions about what gets paid and what has to wait.

This has been humbling in ways I can’t even fully explain. Asking for help is not easy. But your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer — has kept us going longer than we could have on our own.
