My mom was in a severe car accident this afternoon. Her tire popped on the freeway on her way back home. She stepped out to check the tire and while on the phone a car got distracted and hit her car. She was then smashed between the railing and her car, knocking her to the floor while yelling for help. Thankfully there were several people who stopped and helped move the car from on top of her. An ambulance then rushed her to the hospital after several bystanders made sure she was okay. Both her legs are shattered from the knees down so she won’t be able to work soon. She doesn’t have any car or health insurance because when covid hit she had less work and had to prioritize rent and food for my siblings. I(Jose, oldest son) don’t live with my family so I wasn’t able to help since I can barely provide for myself. She wanted everyone to know that God is great and infinite because she’s still alive and with us. We don’t know if she’ll be able to walk soon and I’m concerned on how I’ll be able to provide/sustain two households. My mom is a strong, hardworking woman who’s done the best to provide for us. She’s going to need a lot of help and I’m so grateful for anything so please share the link. 

Desafortunadamente, hoy mi mamá estuvo en un accidente muy grave. Se le ponchó la llanta del carro y se bajo a revisar la llanta. En lo que se bajó estuvo en una llamada con su hermana cuando mi tía escuchó un fuerte ruido y se cortó la llamada. Cuando mi tía le regresó la llamada no más se escucharon los gritos de mi mama pidiendo ayuda., una camioneta se impactó contra su caro dejándola  atrapada en medio del caro y la valla de cemento del freeway. Afortunadamente varias personas pararon para auxiliarla y entre todos levantaron el carro para sacarla de medio del carro y la valla. Después de varias horas nos avisaron que sus dos pies están fracturados de la rodilla para abajo. A lo cual va a necesitar cirugía en el pie izquierdo y terapia física. Se va a necesitar mucha ayuda porque desafortunadamente no va a poder trabajar en mucho tiempo. Yo, (José) vivo aparte y no puedo ayudar económicamente a mis hermanos y mamá porque apenas puedo yo solo. Mi mamá es una guerrera y su fe en Dios es infinitamente grande. Estamos agradecidos que todavía está con nosotros pero necesitamos mucha ayuda.
