Help my Mom during Hip Replacement recovery

Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to you today to ask for your support for my amazing mom, who is about to undergo hip replacement surgery on December 18th, 2024. She is the most selfless and caring person I know, always putting others before herself. Now, she needs our help.

The surgery and the recovery period (3-6 months) will be challenging both physically and financially. My mom will need time to heal and won't be able to work during this period. This has created a financial strain on our family, and we are hoping to raise enough funds to cover her daily living expenses while she recovers.

She has been unable to work due to not being able to put weight on her leg/hip for a couple of months now. If you know my mom you know she is very independent but this injury has taken a toll on her both emotionally and physically. She has been walking using a cane to help get through a couple of minutes walking until the pain gets unbearable. She has been dependent on other people which she is not used to. We have high hopes with this surgery. My 2 siblings and I have helped as much as we can but we have had to fold our own ego and ask for help. I have set the limit on the estimate of months she is set to recover. Thank you so much.

Hoy les pido su apoyo para mi increíble mamá, quien está a punto de someterse a una cirugía de reemplazo de cadera el 18 de Diciembre. Ella es la persona más desinteresada y cariñosa que conozco, siempre poniendo a los demás antes que an ella misma. Ahora, ella necesita nuestra ayuda.
