Help my mom (Christina) through a serious illness

Hey everyone!
As most of you know, my mom is a kind hearted, dedicated, determined worker! This past November she had ended up injured at her job. This left her in so much pain, unable to walk or even stand without being in agony. In December there was still no relief. After two trips to the ER, and being seen by occupational health.. her workers comp was denied. At this point she had used her PTO and most of her sick time. My mom started physical therapy and was given medicine for her pain and yet again still no relief. Come January(now out of work for 2 months), she had seen another doctor and an MRI was done. Her MRI results showed an infection in her back and she was rushed to the hospital. Currently we’re waiting on biopsy results to see what it exactly is. Results will determine if she gets surgery or if she gets sent home on IV infusions for a few months.
She needs help!
We’re doing the best to help her but at this point we just don’t know what else to do. Her significant other is out of work due to COVID and has now been taking care of her.
It breaks my heart watching her do nothing but worry about her rent and bills while having no income, and no sick time or PTO left .. instead of healing and resting.
Anything helps!
