My mom has always worked hard to provide for our family, especially for my seventeen year old sister who still lives with her. A couple of months ago, her rent was raised significantly, making it much harder to keep up with monthly payments. Around the same time, she lost one of her in-home care clients, which meant her income dropped just as her expenses went up. This combination has left her two months behind on rent, and the stress has been overwhelming for all of us.

She recently found a new client, and I’m able to help her cover this month’s rent, but I can’t make up for the past due amount. It’s not easy to ask for help, but I’m reaching out because I want to do everything I can to keep my mom and sister in their home.
