Help My Mom Battle Glioblastoma: Support for Caregivers and Medical Expenses

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to ask for your support as my incredible mom fights an incredibly tough battle. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since her diagnosis, her life has drastically changed, and our family is doing everything we can to ensure she receives the care and comfort she deserves during this difficult time.

My mom, a sweet, loving, and strong woman, underwent brain surgery to remove part of the tumor, but she still faces significant challenges. Her left arm and leg are weak, and she’s currently learning how to regain strength and movement. At this point, she is unable to walk and requires assistance just to move from her bed to her chair. This journey is one of immense emotional and physical difficulty, and we are doing everything possible to help her regain independence and maintain her quality of life.

However, the care and support she needs are overwhelming, and we need your help. I’m setting up this GoFundMe to raise the necessary funds for the following:

• Trained Caregivers: We need help paying for professional caregivers who can assist with moving my mom, providing personal care, and supporting her hygiene needs. This is vital for her safety and well-being as she recovers.

• Medical Transportation: My mom needs regular appointments for follow-up care and treatments. The cost of medical transportation, which includes both gas and specialized transport services.

• Medical Bills: As you can imagine, medical bills are rapidly piling up. We want to ensure that my mom gets the best care possible, but the expenses are becoming more than we can manage.
