Hi everyone, my name is Jake Sinni, and I’m raising money for my mom, Melissa Sinni. She’s a single mom who has always done everything she can to take care of me and my sister — even when times were tough.

She was diagnosed with an aneurysm in her vertebral artery that has now grown to 6 mm. Last Monday, she underwent an angiogram — a test that helps doctors see the blood vessels and identify weak spots or blockages. During the procedure, doctors discovered another aneurysm behind her left eye.

Unfortunately, she experienced serious complications during the angiogram, which caused multiple strokes. On Tuesday, she was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, where she spent four days under care. After being discharged, she began having trouble walking, so we decided it was best for her to return to the hospital. Upon being readmitted, doctors found pseudoaneurysms in her groin.

She’s now facing several procedures, waiting on decisions about how to treat the pseudoaneurysms in her groin, and still needs surgery on her vertebral artery. Despite everything she’s going through, my mom continues to stay strong and think about how to provide for us — but the medical bills, rent, and everyday expenses are becoming overwhelming.

I’m asking for help to ease some of that pressure so she can focus fully on her recovery. Every donation will go directly toward her medical costs, bills, and basic needs while she undergoes treatment. We will continue to post updates as soon as surgery dates are announced.
