Help My Mom & Sister Rebuild After a Devastating Fire
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I’m reaching out with an incredibly heavy heart. Last night, my sister and our 91-year-old mother barely escaped a devastating house fire that took everything they owned. They were awakened by the smell of smoke and had only moments to flee before the flames consumed their home. Tragically, they lost not just their belongings and both their cars, but also their two beloved dogs, who didn’t make it out.
In the chaos, my mother suffered a broken foot, and both she and my sister were treated for smoke inhalation. While we are beyond grateful that they survived, they are now facing the unimaginable—trying to rebuild their lives from nothing while mourning the loss of their sweet pups and the home they’ve cherished for decades.
Right now, they urgently need help for basic necessities—clothing, food, medical expenses, temporary housing, and eventually, the long journey of rebuilding. Anything you can spare, no matter how small, will mean the world to them as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with your network. Your support, prayers, and kindness are deeply appreciated.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
