My mom and I have been battling with finding a proper home for years. We’ve moved several times after my parents divorced. For a while now we’ve been having problems with our tenant. For example, our tenant’s son has harassed me with a knife before because I simply didn’t want to turn my WiFi on. They recently got pets and their feces is usually near our door entry. They never pick up after them. We constantly hear our tenant and their family talk behind our backs. When ever we want to use the restroom someone runs in before we can get in. Our room walls are filled with mold. There’s a strong smell when you enter the room. Some of our personal belongings have gotten damaged because of the mold. Our tenant has given us 6 months to leave the room. We were lucky enough to get into a housing program but we still don’t have enough funds to get a house. This is hard for my mom and I to do.
