Hi everyone,
I’m in a very difficult situation and I’m reaching out because I don’t know where else to turn.
Last week, my dog — who also acts as my medical alert dog — suddenly started vomiting blood and had to be rushed to an out-of-hours vet. The emergency visit alone cost over £500, and although the RSPCA kindly contributed £115, I’ve now completely run out of money for the ongoing treatment he urgently needs.
The vets think it may be a burst ulcer or another serious internal problem, and he will need more appointments, tests, and possibly surgery.
I’m heartbroken because I simply cannot afford the next steps on my own.
My dog isn’t just a pet — he is my support and stability. I have secondary Addison’s Disease, and he stays by my side through hospital appointments, blood tests, GP visits, and daily life. He senses when I’m unwell, keeps me calm, and helps me stay safe. Losing him or not being able to treat him is unimaginable.
I’m asking for help to cover the costs of:
• Further vet consultations
• Diagnostic tests
• Medication
• Potential surgery
Any amount — even £1 — makes a difference.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this. It would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this and for offering kindness during such a frightening time. ❤️
