Hello, my name is Ahmed, and I live in London, Ontario. I am writing to you with a broken heart, but also with a clear plan to save my family. I am raising urgent funds to help my sister, her husband, and their three beautiful children—all under 5 years old—escape the unimaginable horrors in Gaza and bring them to safety here in Canada.

Right now, my sister’s family is trapped in a warzone. My nieces and nephews are suffering from severe trauma, frequent illnesses, and malnutrition. They wake up to the sound of explosions and go to sleep hungry. Due to the devastating situation and extreme inflation, the cost of basic survival—like clean water, baby formula, and diapers—has skyrocketed beyond what we can afford.

There is hope, but we need your help to reach it. As a Canadian resident, I am actively processing their applications through the Government of Canada’s Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) humanitarian pathway to reunite them with me. But the road to safety is incredibly expensive.

I am managing this fundraiser directly from Canada to ensure every single dollar is used responsibly to bring them home. Your donations will fund their immediate survival and their step-by-step journey to safety (Estimated Goal: CAD $28,500):

• CAD $5,000: Immediate Survival in Gaza: These funds are being sent directly to my sister so she can buy over-priced essentials like baby formula, clean drinking water, and diapers to keep the kids healthy enough to travel.

• CAD $2,500: Official Border Transit: Covering the mandatory government border-crossing taxes and safe transportation to reach the exit points in Egypt or Jordan.

• CAD $4,000: Temporary Safe Housing (Egypt/Jordan): Canada’s visa process requires them to complete biometric and medical exams in a third country. This covers modest rent and groceries for 2 to 3 months while they wait for their final visa approvals.

• CAD $3,000: Canadian Visa & Medical Fees: Official application fees for the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada), biometrics, and required medical screening for a family of five.

• CAD $10,000: Airline Tickets: Booking five commercial flights to bring them from Egypt or Jordan directly to Canada once their visas are approved.

• CAD $4,000: Resettlement in Canada: To provide a warm, safe start in London, Ontario—including winter clothing, secure housing deposits, and mandatory medical checkups for the children upon arrival.
