Help my Mama get her liver transplant

As most of you know my mom, Cathy Sawers is at end stage liver disease - her Liver is 100% dead and the only thing keeping her alive are the two new medications she is on - she is doing the testing now for a transplant.

The Nurse at her specialists office said with her liver transplant they want her to stay in Halifax for what will be 10 to 12 weeks. MCP will cover her cost of flight and hospital stay but after she is discharged she will have to pay for accommodations, meals and transportation back and forth to the hospital. Her friend offered a place for cheap but for the first 6 weeks at least she has to stay within a few miles of the hospital and unfortunately her friend lives a half hour drive away. Just the cheapest hotel rooms are close to $200. per night.

Anyone who knows my Mom knows she would be first in line to buy tickets or donate to anyone in need. She never asks for anything in return. We've been trying to get some fundraising going but she is either too exhausted and sick to talk about it or feels like she's being a bother to people. Right now, its hard to keep up with just the new medications which are over $700.00 per month plus she has to pay a contribution to have a caregiver with her as she is still very unsteady on her feet and often still confused. Please help my mom with the added costs of being in Halifax. I'm scared that if we keep putting off raising money for her costs, she will have no choice but to cancel going when the time comes for her transplant.
