Help Us Save Bella Bella isn’t just our dog — she’s our family. She’s a nearly 10-year-old black lab with the gentlest soul you could ever meet. If you’ve ever known a Labrador, you know that look they give you — full of love, trust, and loyalty. That’s Bella. Every single day. Bella’s favorite thing in the world is fetching balls and sticks. She’ll bring them back over and over, tail wagging, eyes bright, like it’s the best moment of her life — every time. She doesn’t care how many times you throw it. As long as she gets to bring it back to you, she’s happy. Recently, our world was shaken. Bella has developed a cancerous tumor on her left shoulder — a growth now the size of a softball. It’s impossible not to see. Impossible not to worry. And heartbreaking to know that while she still greets us with love, still tries to play, her body is fighting something she doesn’t understand. Despite the pain, Bella is still Bella. Still sweet. Still loving. Still trusting us to take care of her. That’s the hardest part. Our veterinarian has told us that time is critical. The tumor needs to be evaluated immediately and surgically removed before it grows further or spreads. The cost to begin Bella’s treatment — including diagnostics, surgery, and follow-up care — is $4,500. As a family, we are doing everything we can — but we can’t do this alone. Asking for help is not easy. But Bella has given us almost 10 years of unconditional love, comfort, loyalty, and joy. She’s been there on our hardest days and our happiest ones. She deserves a fighting chance to enjoy more sunny days, more fetch sessions, more tail wags, and more moments just being the good girl she’s always been.
