As many of you know, Bear is my baby boy. He is 10 years old and just one of the happiest pups to walk among us. At the beginning of this year, the vet am I noticed that Bears lymph nods were rather large and staring to cause him discomfort. We ran test after test and they came back heart breaking, my little man has Lymphoma. We were finally able to get an appointment with the VCA, only to find out his liver and kidneys were starting to fail and he was starting to fall to the disease. We started him on meds immediately, along with a prednisone regiment and noticed a difference almost over night. The vet was so impressed the next week, so was happy to tell me that she thinks treatment is really going to work for him. I was sent multiple treatment protocols, having to decide my littles fate (literally heart breaking). I decided the CHOP protocol was the best option, it was just going to be very expensive. I have been so humbled lately from a stream of things happening over the past year, that I am now asking for help. Any little thing will help us out. I can not imagine my world with out my little man, he has been with me since he was 8 weeks old and has been by my side through thick and thin. I want to be able to do the same for him, make him better and give him the best quality of life for the time he has left.
