Help save Aiko, the cat who saved me.

My 7 year old cat was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 kidney disease. We are in a critical window where specialized tests, treatment, and surgery could help save her, or at least slow the progression of disease - giving her more time with quality of life.

Aiko is not just my pet, she is my steady companion, and the reason I made it through some of the darkest periods of my life. Aiko made survival feel possible.

She doesn’t just attach to me, she loves everyone. Anyone who walks into my apartment quickly finds her climbing into their lap as if she’s known them forever. She brings warmth and gentleness to every heartbeat that comes into the room.

Right now, she is still herself. Affectionate, calm, present. There is advanced care available through a veterinary specialist that could make a huge difference. However, it comes at a financial cost I cannot manage on my own.

I want to fight for her the way she has quietly fought for me.
