update 1/23/26: we took boogey to the vet earlier this week and have got him on phenobarbital - it has already helped a lot and he hasnt had a seizure in 5 days (which is obviously way better than having them every 5 hours). he definitely has some brain damage and seems to be mostly blind, but hes been a lot livelier these last few days.
thank you to everyone that has helped so far. while the situation is decidedly less urgent and im feeling a lot better about his prognosis, he still needs to see a neurologist if we ever want to figure out the cause and (hopefully) a more permanent treatment and now we are having to pay for his medication in the meantime, and boogey is not the only pet we have on medication. donations still help immensely for making sure we can still afford his care and mean a lot to both of us. thank you again!
update 1/19/26: the time between seizures has shortened from 12 hours to 6 hours. he's getting worse. he'll be going to the vet asap and all funds will go directly to his medical costs.
my kitten, boogey, has been having full body seizures every 12 hours for the last two days. hes only 3 months old. i have no idea whats causing them but i NEED to get him to a proper vet to have tests done to even have a chance, and the funds me and my family have for that are very limited. any help at all would be heaven sent. im desperate.
