Hi everyone,

My dad (their pawpaw) is scheduled to have triple bypass surgery later this month. He’s 72 years old and has emphysema, which makes this a higher-risk surgery. We are staying hopeful, but as you can imagine, it’s a scary time for all of us.

I’m trying to get my kids to Alabama so that they can spend time with their pawpaw before his surgery and be there to support him. He means the world to them, and having this time together would be something they’ll always remember.

Right now, the cost of flights from California to Alabama for multiple kids is more than I can afford. I hate asking, but I don’t want to miss this chance for them to be with him before such a major surgery.
