Hey there, I'm Kat! As a single parent, making ends meet and saving money on the side is always a challenge, but I’m determined to make this work for my kids. Next year, we have a once-in-a-lifetime band trip opportunity to travel together and experience so much of the country—something I’ve always dreamed of sharing with them. We will be traveling with Meeker, Tecumseh and North Rock Creek School band. This band trip includes visits to Cedar Point, Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls, the Staten Island Ferry, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, all the DC memorial tours, and even a chance to visit the White House. My son, Ryker, will be performing with his school band at a few concerts along the way, and I know these are memories that will last a lifetime for both him and my daughter, Tegan.

I’ve been putting away what I can, but with the May 1st deadline coming up, I’m worried I won’t have all the funds in time. That’s why I’m reaching out to our community for help. Your support will go directly toward food, lodging, transportation, and tickets to all these amazing experiences. More than anything, it will give my kids the chance to see the world beyond our hometown and create memories we’ll cherish forever.
