Help my husband's final wishes come true
Donation protected
I'm sorry for not coming back on here, I thought the account was deleted and then see you guys are still donating. Thank you each and every one of you for your donations and kind wishes. Paul really did love every single one of you and had so many amazing stories he loved to share. He was able to check off everything on his bucket list thanks to you all. He traveled to different cities around the country and saw the Mets play a few different towns and even made it to the Iron Bowl, where sadly Alabama beat Auburn in overtime, but all of these memories would not have been possible without you. It brings me sorrow to have to write that we lost our dear warrior, and strongest human to ever walk this earth on Sunday. He put up such a fight for 12 years and sadly he was just so tired from all the fighting. However he didnt go when the doctors told him he would, he proved every single one of them wrong. My heart is heavy and my kids are grieving, but we find strength in knowing he is no longer in pain, no longer suffering and can finally feel peace. I will update here when I have made arrangements and anyone is welcome to be a part of his celebration of life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
My name is Jodi and I'm fundraising for my husband who has been fighting for his life the past 8 years with cancer. He started with testicular cancer that came back after only a few weeks of being in remission and then he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He did a trial called Cross where he went through chemotherapy and radiation then had surgery to remove more than half of his stomach and esophagus. This was so hard on him and even though it was at first successful, he struggled to keep anything down including drinking water. He lost so much weight (down to less than 130 lbs) and his cancer is now back without a cure. We were told if the chemotherapy works, he might live another 14 months. This has been the hardest news on us and our 3 kids as he has gone through so much without relief in sight. Since the surgery we have been in and out of hospitals and still he is suffering. I've never been one to ask for help or money however this is so important to me that he gets to live the remainder of his life with things that he has always wanted to do yet hasn't been able to financially. We would like to make a family memories and take a vacation and also go to sporting events as a family. Any donations are so appreciated. I really appreciate your time and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every single day we have left, we will be forever grateful for. Enjoy each other and never forget to tell your loved ones how much they are loved ❤
