Hello all, My husband is from Venezuela and is currently in the process of getting his green card through marriage with me. Recently, we’ve found ourselves in a hard financial situation. I lost my job and Miguel’s hours were significantly cut at work. While I’ve been searching for a new job, Miguel is the only one that has been bringing in money for us and our three pets. We are trying to raise money to cover his legal fees and the filing fees for his green card application. With the current political climate, we are scared that waiting any longer could put him in more danger of being targeted by ICE, even though he has no criminal record. The uncertainty and fear have made this process even more stressful for both of us.
The funds raised will go directly toward attorney fees and the USCIS filing fees required for his green card. These costs are overwhelming for us right now, and every bit of support will help us move forward with his application and protect him from unnecessary risk. Your help will make a real difference in our lives, giving us a chance to feel safe and secure again.
Being able to pay for the legal costs of protecting my husband would lift a huge burden from our shoulders. We wouldn’t have to live with constant fear, and it would greatly help with our mental health as this financial crisis has severely affected us. We can’t live with this fear any longer, and with the help we get, it will give us some relief. Thank you for reading our story and considering supporting us during this difficult time.
