On December 11th, 2025, my husband suffered an Acute STEMI heart attack. He spent a week in the hospital, and during that time, we learned he has coronary artery disease and acute heart failure. The experience has been overwhelming for our family, both emotionally and financially. The medical bills are piling up, and in order for him to start the rehab he desperately needs, we have to pay up front.

To make things even more difficult, workman's comp stopped paying him, and that's a separate issue we're still trying to resolve. My husband can't return to work until his heart is in better condition, so we're facing a lot of uncertainty about the future.
