My husband is the rock of our family and the main provider for our four children. On November 20th, our lives changed when he was in a car accident that put him out of work. We were already struggling to adjust, but then, on February 5th, he suffered another devastating setback—he fell and broke his leg in about 15 pieces. He has been in the hospital for a week now, undergoing multiple surgeries, and the road to recovery looks long and uncertain.
With him unable to work, we are facing mounting medical expenses and the daily costs of caring for our children. The bills are piling up, and we are in jeopardy of losing our home. Every day feels overwhelming as I try to keep things together for our family, but the financial strain is more than we can handle alone.
I have never been one to ask for help, but right now, I have no choice. If you are able to support us, your kindness will go directly toward medical needs, household expenses, and making sure our children have what they need. I am forever grateful to each and every one of you for taking the time to read our story and for any help you can give. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. After an extensive 9 day stay at upstate hospital and multiple surgeries ricky is finally home but certainly not in the clear. unfortunately we have a long road ahead of us with potential for more surgeries. he's currently got 15 implants(screws, plates bolts and nuts) in his ankle to hopefully give him a chance at a functioning ankle. Unfortunately this type of break is very difficult and complicated even with the best surgeons there's still high chance for complications and 15% chance of amputation ricky is a fantastic dedicated father to 4 wonderful children that hes always loved unconditionally, he has always worked hard to care for us in the best ways. Hes kind, hes generous and honestly the most selfless man you could ever meet. And we need help more now than ever. We are just trying to get through day to day life learning to navigate everything and really need any and all support we can get from our community right now. I appreciate everyone who's helped us, people who've sent me kind words of encouragement ❤️ you guys have helped me in ways I cant even express. Thank you for your time. Please share.
