My name is Joseen, and I’m raising funds for my husband—an incredibly loving and devoted father—who has been living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) since 2020.

He was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting MS, and we’ve spent the last five years doing everything possible to slow the progression of this disease. Unfortunately, his treatments are no longer working effectively. His MS is now progressing, and it’s taking away more of his abilities each day.

The hardest part?

Our 3-year-old son just wants to play with his Dad. He wants to be lifted, chased, tickled—just like any little boy would. But my husband finds it physically challenging to do those things.

This disease has robbed him of moments that should be filled with laughter, movement, and connection. And it’s breaking our hearts.

There is hope—but we need your help.

After researching every possible option, we found a treatment called HSCT (Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation). It’s a proven therapy that can halt the progression of MS—and in many cases, even allow for some recovery of lost function. This treatment is not offered or covered in Canada for MS patients. The best option we have is to travel to Clinica Ruiz in Mexico, where he is scheduled for treatment in November 2025.

The full cost of this treatment is $85,000 CAD, which is due by September 2025 to guarantee his spot. The costs include medical care, travel, and accommodations - we cannot do this alone.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward giving my husband a second chance—a chance to stop this disease, to regain quality of life, and to be the active, playful dad he so badly wants to be for our son.
