My husband has called the United States home for the past 20 years. Since the day he arrived, his dream has always been to become a U.S. citizen or at least secure a green card. He has worked hard, contributed to his community, and truly loves this country and everything it has given him. He aspires to live the American dream and wants nothing more than to continue being present in his kids' lives, guiding and supporting them as they grow. Unfortunately, his journey has not been easy, and recently, our lives were turned upside down when he was unexpectedly detained by immigration authorities.

This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for our family. The uncertainty and fear are overwhelming, but my husband continues to hold onto hope. He believes in the promise of this country and is determined to fight for his right to stay here. However, the legal process is complicated and expensive.
