Help My House of Paws Keep Pups Cool

Hello friends,

Most of you know that I own My House of Paws and that I relocated to Moreno Valley in December of 2021. You may or may not know the weather extremes I have been dealing with here. It can get very cold in the winter months but harder to deal with are the hot months. The temperatures get pretty high and consistent high 90's and low 100's.

When we designed the dog barn, we did add foam insulation and a big expense. However, the "professionals" did not recommend an adequate amount for the temperatures here, so it doesn't help as much as it should. We also added a big AC at a "professional's" advice, and that doesn't help much either. We have added swamp coolers and barn fans, and when the temperatures are high, the dog barn is 85 to 90, which is cooler than outside but still too hot.

After research, we have learned that a mini split system will be the best solution. I have had a very generous past adopter of one of my fosters donate $1800 for a mini split system. We have purchased a one-ton and will get another smaller one to split the cooling (also heating).

We did not anticipate the price to add a sub panel with disconnects, so this is where this fundraiser comes in. To complete the project and keep the pups cool, we need additional funds asap.
