I am raising funds to support my host brother Ernesto in Mozambique as he pursues his dream of attending college. Ernesto is incredibly bright and hopes to study international relations. During my time living with his family, he patiently taught me Portuguese and guided me through so many moments of adjustment—always with kindness, humor, and generosity. His dedication and wisdom left a lasting impact on me, and I want to help ensure he has the chance to pursue his own education.

We’ve calculated that it costs about $100 a month to send Ernesto to college—an amount equal to just a few meals out in the U.S. My dream is not only to help him, but eventually to send all of his siblings to university.
