Help my Happy Furball be Happy Again

I haven’t been able to work my full-time job nor take any photography jobs for 3 weeks because I had my hip replaced on June 14th. I haven’t been with my full-time job long enough to have earned any PTO, so I am financially decimated. My lovely, happy girl had to be shaved down because

I wasn’t able to groom her for two weeks straight. I don’t like seeing her shaved, but I HATE seeing her in pain. She developed what are called ear hematomas. It’s caused by dogs shaking their heads rapidly from discomfort. Last night the hematomas ruptured and today we visited the Blue Pearl Animal Hospital. Right now, they’re treating her conservatively with steroids and antibiotics but she may have to have surgery. Today’s visit was over $600 and trust me, it wasn’t in the budget. She needs follow up visits to ensure she’s healing properly.
