My name is Sonia Cortes Teron. I’m the legal sister of Luis Cortes Teron. I’m creating this GoFundMe to raise funds for my brother’s funeral costs.

My brother, Luis Cortes Teron, was killed by his own brother, Alex Cortes Teron, 49, after a fight. A punch caused him to fall and hit his head on the concrete. Police responded to the fight near the Court Street bridge in Woonsocket. They found my brother, Luis Cortes Teron, 46, unresponsive, and he was later pronounced dead at Landmark Hospital. This incident happened in Woonsocket on Court Street bridge and it’s on NBC 10 News. As he always mentioned "if something happens to me it's my brother’s fault." Alex that man has no feelings or remorse. Alex Cortes Teron never seemed to care about anyone and has always been aggressive towards his brother and others. He got charged with first-degree murder. Luis was one of the sweetest, most caring, and loving men. Always willing to help anyone and never said no. He didn’t deserve to die like that. He was a great brother. Everyone that knew him knew how wonderful of a man he was—neighbors, families, and friends. He loved to laugh a lot for no reason and make everyone laugh. This was my baby brother, my closest thing. My family and I are in so much distress. Seeing his body at the hospital covered in blood It was a lot for me. I still can’t believe it. How could someone do that to their own brother? We hope he gets what he deserves and pays for what he did and caused to the family. I’m arranging this GoFundMe for some help. Anything helps, even a dollar; it means a lot.
