Last night, January 24, my grandparents Anita and Wayne Chaffee’s home caught fire. They are in their early 90s and have lived in their home for many years, building memories and a life together. The fire has left them without a safe place to stay, and it’s heartbreaking to see them lose so much in an instant. I am doing everything I can to support them, but the challenges are overwhelming, especially during the harsh winter months.
We are raising funds to help my grandparents find a new home, replace essential items lost in the fire, and make necessary repairs. The costs are significant, and with the coldest winter storm of the year upon us, the urgency is even greater. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping them rebuild and regain a sense of security and comfort.
Any support, big or small, will really help them out. It’s cold and we are in the worst winter storm of the year. Let’s help them as much as we possibly can. Your kindness and generosity will make a world of difference for our family during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping my grandparents in your thoughts.
