Hello my name is Angie, I am on here to ask you for help for our abuelito Jose. Our abuelito is a big family man and loved pets.

He’s always the person that can never sit down to relax and prefers to stay busy around the house and find new handy projects to work on like helping a family friend to remodel a bathroom, build a shelf.

Whenever he walks around the house, all of our pets follow him. He’s always been happy and helpful person but this year we noticed his behavior started to change. He mentioned he had pain in his stomach and after some time, my Tia Eliza took him to the hospital and unfortunately we were notified he has stage 4 cancer in his Kidney. But it also spread to his lungs and spinal column.

He’s currently in El Salvador, his homeland, to get surgery to remove the mass in his Kidney. Although, it’s a a very invasive surgery, our abuelito is a very strong-willed person and we hope his body is able to recover from this surgery. After his surgery, he will receive chemo therapy. We understand our economy is very challenging and we’re all taking it day by day, we would deeply appreciate if you’re able to help us a little. Hola, mi nombre es Angie y en este día estamos pidiendo ayuda para nuestro abuelito. Nuestro abuelito es un gran hombre de familia y adoraba a las mascotas. Siempre es de los que nunca se relajan y prefiere estar ocupado en casa buscando nuevos proyectos prácticos, como ayudar a un amigo de la familia a remodelar el baño o construir una estantería. Cada vez que camina por la casa, todas nuestras mascotas lo siguen. Siempre ha sido una persona alegre y servicial, pero este año notamos que su comportamiento empezó a cambiar. Comentó que tenía dolor de estómago y, después de un tiempo, mi tía Eliza lo llevó al hospital y, lamentablemente, nos informaron que tiene cáncer de riñón en etapa 4. También se ha extendido a los pulmones y la columna vertebral. Actualmente se encuentra en El Salvador, su país natal, para someterse a una cirugía para extirparle la masa renal. Aunque es una cirugía muy invasiva, nuestro abuelito es una persona muy tenaz y esperamos que se recupere bien. Después de la cirugía, recibirá quimioterapia.
