My name is Samantha, and I am starting this fundraiser for my 82-year-old grandma after a severe storm in San Antonio caused major damage to her home. During the storm, heavy leaks flooded the house, and by the next morning we found her roof in the backyard after severe winds tore it off. What remains is rotted and must be removed and replaced. At 82, she should be focused on her health, physical therapy, and doctor visits, not the fear and stress of losing the safety of her home.

My grandma has no home insurance, so these repairs must be paid out of pocket. She was also declined for a financed loan, and after trusting someone to help, she lost some of the little money she had when the work was never completed. The funds raised will help remove the damaged roof, repair the home, and make it safe and secure again so she can remain in her home.
