Help Grandma Adria Recover After a Devastating Hit-and-Run

My name is Adria Denise, and I’m raising funds to help my grandmother, Adria Nuris, who was the victim of a devastating hit-and-run accident on October 5th, 2025, in Orlando, Florida.

My grandmother — a gentle, 75-year-old woman, just 5 feet tall and 100 pounds — was crossing the street during one of her regular daily walks when she was struck by a driver speeding over 50 mph. The driver fled the scene, leaving her lying in the road until a good Samaritan found her and called 911.

She was rushed to Osceola Hospital, where she spent weeks in the ICU recovering from:

A broken right leg and foot

A fractured left leg

Multiple broken ribs

A fractured right arm

The medical team at Osceola has been nothing short of amazing, but the journey has been unimaginably difficult. Despite their best efforts, her right leg has not healed, and as of November 6th, 2025, my grandmother is undergoing amputation surgery.

This has been heartbreaking for our family. My mom, her primary caregiver, has been by her side every single day, but the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. We’re now facing ongoing medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and the need for long-term care and home adjustments once she’s released from the hospital.
