Hi there my name is Kiara Chaparro and our family is going through a very difficult time. My grandma came to visit us from Peru for what was meant to be a joyful vacation. But unexpectedly, she began to feel unwell, and when we rushed her to the hospital, we received heartbreaking news — she had suffered a stroke.

Her insurance does not cover all of the medical expenses, leaving my dad to face a huge financial burden that has already exceeded $50,000. She has also been hospitalized twice due to relapses, and she is now in recovery, unable to return to Peru until she is well enough to travel.

We are doing everything we can to support her, but the costs continue to grow. This fundraiser is to help with ongoing hospital bills, medical treatments, medications, and her recovery needs.
