Help My Grandma & Grandpa Save Their Shop

Hi, my name is Vanessa, and I’m raising money for my grandma and grandpa — two of the most important people in my life.

My grandma runs a small shop in Santee Alley, Los Angeles, where she sells shirts, socks, waist trainers , vests, and more. She’s worked so hard her whole life, and growing up, she gave me everything — even when she had little herself.

Now, things have taken a difficult turn.

Because of recent ICE raids and fear in the community, fewer people are coming to shop. Business has slowed down, rent is rising, and my grandparents are really struggling.

My grandma is dealing with serious pain in her legs — she can’t walk for long, and it hurts her just to get through the day. Even with all that, she’s still trying to keep her shop open and care for my grandpa, who also needs help. They’re both falling behind on rent and have medical bills they can’t afford.

They are good people with good hearts. If someone ever needed a hand, they would give it without asking for anything back. That’s just who they are — kind, generous, and humble. They are strong hardworking parents, grandparents, and even great-grandparents who built everything they had from the ground up.

Right now, they need a little help in return — to keep their small business going and cover their basic needs like rent, medical care, and essentials. Our family is doing what we can, but we can’t do it alone.
