I am reaching out with a broken heart after a tragic car crash took the lives of my daughter and her 10-year-old son. In the same accident, my daughter’s five surviving children, ranging in age from 1 to 12, were airlifted from New Mexico to a hospital in Arizona with serious injuries. They are still hospitalized, and there are multiple surgeries and a long road to recovery ahead. Our family is trying to process an unimaginable loss while also doing everything we can to make sure these children receive the care, stability, and support they need right now.
