Wanting to have my own business has always been my dream. I have tried many things in the past few years and finally found my passion and business grew beyond my expectations! This year, my custom cultural graduation stoles have become incredibly popular, and I am honored to help so many scholars celebrate their achievements and heritage. With my health issues up and down and current in remission from cancer, working from home is the best solution and doing what I love is a bonus. So, I have taken a leap of faith to pursue this full time!
However, embroidering about 200 stoles on a non-commercial machine has been a real challenge. The machine I want to invest in would take my business to the next level and create other products with in my niche. Many scholars have reached out requesting special logos or their country’s national flower to be embroidered, but I’ve had to decline these orders due to limited capabilities. It’s heartbreaking to turn away meaningful requests that could make graduation even more special for these students.
I have poured my heart and soul into every piece that I make. I believe investing in a commercial machine will add more detail and quality to something very meaningful to my customers. Your support would help me fulfill more unique requests and continue celebrating the diverse stories of graduates. Any contribution would mean the world to me and help my dream grow even further.
