Help Me Care for My Chronically Ill Pets

Hey everyone,

This isn’t easy to write, but I’m at the point where I need help.

I’ve been caring for four rescue animals who have been with me their entire lives—they are my family, my support system, and my biggest joy. But lately, the vet bills, medications, and special diets have gotten out of reach. I’m on disability while waiting for surgery, and I’ve already sold everything I can just to stay afloat. I still owe $250 for Oliver’s emergency surgery, and ongoing costs are piling up fast.

Here’s a little bit about each of my babies:

Louie (10 years old) – I rescued him as a pup, and he’s been by my side ever since. He has osteoarthritis and arthritis in his spine and all four legs. It’s heartbreaking to watch him struggle with mobility. He’s on multiple joint medications and needs extra support just to stay comfortable.

Chico (8 years old) – I’ve had Chico since he was tiny. He’s now battling IVDD (intervertebral disc disease)—a painful spinal condition. He’s having more and more trouble walking, and he needs a proper IVDD support harness just to get around safely.

Frankie (7 years old) – My sweet boy has both diabetes and IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). He requires daily insulin, prescription food, and constant monitoring. He’s underweight and fragile, but still full of love and fight.

Oliver (7 years old) – Oliver just went through emergency surgery to drain a jaw abscess. Sadly, the infection had spread, and he lost 80% of his teeth. On top of that, he was just diagnosed with diabetes too. He now requires insulin and special care every day.

Every one of them is on a different prescription diet. Every one of them needs medications and vet visits. And I’m doing my best—fighting every day to keep them happy and comfortable—but I can’t do it alone anymore.

I’m raising funds to cover:
– Medications
– Prescription food
– Vet bills (we still owe $250 for Oliver’s surgery)
– A proper IVDD harness for Chico
– A pet stroller to help take the cats to their many appointments

These animals have been with me since they were babies. I’ve loved and cared for them their whole lives, and I’m not giving up on them now. Anything helps—even a share.
