Help My Friend’s Mother Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica

I am writing on behalf of my dear friend, Ian Perry, from Westmoreland, Jamaica.

Hurricane Melissa has brought unimaginable devastation to their family. My friend’s mother has lost everything — her home, her furniture, and all her belongings. She currently has no place to stay, no food, no clean water, and no access to medication.

We are reaching out for help as she tries to rebuild her life from nothing. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping her and her community recover and find stability again.

They are also in urgent need of carpenter tools, a generator, chainsaw, sheets, blankets, or any other supplies that could help with rebuilding. Every bit of support will mean the world to them.

I have known this family for 15 years, and they have always been kind, hardworking, and generous to others. Now, they need our compassion and help more than ever.
