Adrian and her husband, Rob, are trying to have a baby of their own!
When Adrian became a single mom in 2006 with Eric, her life changed instantly for the better. Eric was a blessing, a guiding light for her. Scared and alone, at 19, she rose to motherhood and provided Eric with a wonderful life.
Fast forward to 2012, when Rob came into their lives. Eric and Rob instantly connected through their love of basketball and developed a father-son relationship.
In 2017, Rob and Adrian got married.
Almost 3 years ago, Rob and Adrian found out they were pregnant. Over the moon excited, they shared their wonderful news with friends and family only to be rushed to the emergency room with their first pregnancy loss.
Shattered by the news, they were still optimistic and continue to try again.
Eight months later, in February 2019, they found out that they were again pregnant. Hesitant to share the news, they kept it to themselves. The weekend before they were to hear the heartbeat, Adrian woke up feeling “off” and went to the emergency room. Their biggest fear was confirmed and they lost their second pregnancy.
Since then, they have had no luck of getting pregnant.
Adrian eventually went to a fertility specialist and underwent three medical cycles of IUI’s, which looked to be very promising. Unfortunately, they were not successful and it was confirmed that IVF would be their best option.
Adrian has always been very open about their fertility struggles so other women don’t feel alone.
I know how much Adrian, Rob and Eric want to expand their family and the cost of IVF is an immense amount of money.
I am reaching out to anyone who would like to support Adrian and Rob to offset the cost of IVF.
They are very grateful for your continued support throughout their journey and they look forward to sharing good news with you all in the future!
Thank you!
