Today I want to share something very painful that happened to someone very close to me. My friend and her family recently lost everything in a devastating fire. The fire started in the house next door and quickly spread to their home. In just a matter of minutes, their entire house was engulfed in flames. They barely had time to escape. They ran outside with only the clothes they were wearing. Everything else was lost—their home, their furniture, their clothes, and the memories they had built over so many years. Family photos, personal belongings, and the place where they felt safe are now gone. Seeing my friend sitting outside her home, watching everything she knew disappear in the fire, was one of the hardest moments I have ever witnessed. No family should have to go through something like this.


Right now, they are trying to rebuild their lives from nothing. That is why we are asking for help.
