We are a team of coworkers who would like to help our friend to finally get his barbaric surgery. He has been struggling with his weight and subsequently his health for a long, long time. He was finally told by his doctors that he will not be able to do this on his own and needs this surgery desperately. He has done everything the doctors told him he needed to do in order for this to happen.  However, now that he is close to the procedure, he fears he won't be able to afford the $5,000 out of pocket expense.

We really want to help and would be absolutely crushed, if his surgery couldn't happen, because he simply cannot afford it. I am humbly asking for help from awesome people like you.
