Hey everyone,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Steven, who is facing an urgent medical crisis and needs our help. Steven has been battling multiple serious health challenges over the past few years, and now he needs surgery for prostate cancer that has progressed to stage 2.

Steven is one of the strongest, most resilient people I know. Despite everything he's been through - triple arthrodesis ankle/foot fusion surgery, a broken leg, jaw/gum surgery, three bladder surgeries this year, prostatitis, bladder damage, and now a colon infection that's causing him severe pain - he continues to help others through his advocacy work, consulting, and media services. 

His prostate cancer surgery (radical prostatectomy) has been moved up to September 22nd because recent tests show his condition is worsening rapidly. He also needs a colonoscopy to rule out colon cancer due to the infection.

Steven will be out of work for 2-3 weeks recovering, and due to recent changes in healthcare, recovery services will not be provided. He needs funds for recovery necessities.

I'm managing this fundraiser and will personally ensure every dollar goes directly toward Steven's recovery care. No amount is too small - even $25 or $50 makes a real difference.
