This is honestly really uncomfortable for me to post, but I’m doing it because I care deeply about someone who is going through something really difficult.

I’ve watched a close friend get pulled into a legal situation she now has to defend, and while her attorney feels confident, the reality is the cost is high, around $10,000, and it’s not something she was prepared for. She is hiring the best because he has the resources to hire the best as well.

What matters most to me is that she can stand up for herself and be heard without financial pressure getting in the way.

I also know the kind of person she is. She’s someone who has consistently shown up for others, even opening her home to help people in tough situations when they needed a safe place to land. She’s an incredibly kind, generous, and genuine person, and it’s hard to watch her go through something like this.

I’m not someone who usually puts things like this on the internet, and I know people may have questions. I’m happy to connect anyone privately who wants more context or hear directly from her.
