Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of a dear friend who’s going through an incredibly tough time. He recently lost his beloved dog, Bertie, after a heartbreaking battle, and now his other baby, Yuki, is fighting for her life.

Yuki has been diagnosed with mouth cancer and, while recovering in the hospital, has developed sepsis, a life-threatening complication that has made her condition even more critical. She’s receiving intensive care, but the cost of her treatment is growing rapidly.

To make matters worse, my friend is still paying off the extortionate vet bills from Bertie’s care. It’s been a financial and emotional blow, and as someone who would never ask for help himself, I wanted to step in and try to ease even a small part of his burden.

He’s the most loving and dedicated dog dad, his dogs are his world, his family. Watching him go through this heartbreak, while also carrying the weight of the financial strain, is very sad.
