Help my friend raise money to live in the UK

I am a Glasgow community member organising this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Mansour who I met through my work with No Evictions Network. Mansour has been living in the UK for 8 years and has spent this time desperately trying to have his asylum claim accepted. He has run into several issues along the way, despite the effort he consistently puts in and regardless of what his life was like in Somalia, and why he had to leave. His family is still back in Somalia and he is unable to contact them to confirm how they are doing, or if they are even alive.

He is one of the nicest and most kindhearted people you will meet. He recently received a letter recently saying he was to be evicted due to his asylum claim being denied, despite the fact neither he nor his lawyer had been told his claim had been denied. He is currently appealing the eviction and the asylum claim and is under unimagineable stress. He has told me this is badly affecting his physical health in turn, and that he feels trapped in the situation he is currently in. He cannot afford to get the bus even to do his food shopping, let alone to get to and from his mosque and spend time outside to better his mental health. This fundraiser is to raise money to pay for him to have a monthly travel pass around Glasgow/Scotland, day trips around the UK and food and clothes that will sustain him.
