Help my friend pay rent while in treatment

Hi everyone! I’m raising funds on behalf of a dear friend of mine who needs help paying rent while she receives desperately needed in-patient treatment for the next month.
Maria (name changed for privacy) is one of my closest friends and a fellow educator who doesn’t get paid during the summer months. She had money saved for her expenses during this time but unfortunately, her medical needs came unexpectedly and she now needs to raise at least $1,800 by the 13th to avoid eviction.
