Update on my best friend Leonida Gantan.

Yesterday the Evergreen Washeli  Funeral Homes gave us an update.  After refusing to Sign the death certificate at the Hospital by the
Doctor at the ER we waited for 11 days before it was release  and sign and sent to Washeli yesterday.  The Director at Washeli told us
yesterday this words "Good news! I have everything I need to send to the consulate! I am going to have it overnighted to them and include a prepaid overnight return envelope".

Just hope that by Friday "Leonida can go back home to the Philippines, its been a long wait and even her Daughter are asking when?
If in case the Consulate expedite her papers Nida will fly Friday or Saturday. 

She does not have any ticket yet, me and my other friend helping me out with this journey to send back Nida Home,  hoping we have
enough money.

I will close my GoFundme  this coming Thursday. I would like to say thank you for all who donated for Leonida's wish to go back home.
All of you are great people, you open your heart to a person you don't even know and give a helping hand in need. 

My friend really needs to rest in our Home Country.  God Bless you all.

Just lost my best friend Leonida Gantan, a very young mother who is trying to support her family in the Philippines. She lives all alone here in Seattle WA.
It hurts so much, our last bonding  we share together was last Thursday ( June 10, 2021). That day she told me she wants to go home, she want to see her family specially her new 6 months grandson.  For 17 years she have not seen her family. Did not know that day is her goodbye to me.
Last Monday ( June 14, 2021) on the way to her Dialysis she died of Heart Attack.
My best friend, my buddy, my partner in laughter's and most of all she is like a sister to me. We always have good laugh, we sing and sometimes we dance to the music inside my car. This woman has a good heart. As of now her body was in the funeral. 
I would like to ask a big favor if you could contribute to my friend Leonida Gantan, Her only daughter wishes for the last time to see her mother after 17  she have not seen her personally.  She wants to giver Nida a hug for the last time.
The funds is needed  so I can send her body home ,,back to the Philippines.

I will be in charge of final expenses. The funeral parlor give us two weeks . 
She really meant so much to me. A very kind person, with a big heart.
